I love Lanvin!

I love this book, I'm absolutely crazy about it, and I'm looking forward to wear somethin’ from Lanvin! Dush!

Amazingly beautiful! Madame Lanvin's artistic sensibility and creative spirit is evidence in even the simplest of forms. She is one of the few designers of her time who successfully drew inspiration from colors, motifs and symbols inspired by visits to cathedrals,  museums and art galleries.

Fashion is not a sketch with a front and back view. It’s about what exist between the drawing and the outfit: the woman. It’s difficult for woman today, as they are not allowed to age. As a designer, I have to know what a woman experiences in the course of a day as she is obligated to be perfect at home and in the office: the perfect lover, the perfect mother, perfect daughter. Alber Elbaz

This pictures ia absolutely adorable. And inspiring in certain ways! From left: Pochoir illustration for Lanvin invitation to the private fashion show held within the boutique,1910-1912. Illustration of bride descending the staircase with her young and cute attendants, 1944.

Clockwise from top left: "Les Petites Filles models,"1925, Rounded detail of hemline from the dress, and Robe de style with silver lamé fichu collar secured at the waist with handmade rose detail. Fyi, the silk tulle skirt with silver bugle-bead appliqué and detail is supported by a whalebone pannier visible only because the silver lamé underskirt has detached over time, Winter 1918.

Sungguh mempersonakan sekali!Memang tak boleh nak lawan! LOL

Exquisite details! The house of Lanvin evolved from the creative force and remarkable energy of an extraordinary woman, the one and only: Jeanne Lanvin. The continuous public appeal and the youthful image of these couture creations are noteworthy aspects of Madamme Lanvin’s career.

Wow! What more can I say... sure bring tear's to my eye's.Sandra Azwan memang over!;-P

Everthing that has something to do with crazy mad-a** drawing skillzzz!

looking at this Lanvin book, someday you should have your own book to feature all your designs and sketches.

Sandra, I know nothing about fashion interpretation. Looking at the pix on your post, I just amazed how a person can actually product such an amazing abstract illustration but seriously no idea on how to understand the meaning behind the illustration especially the last picture.

I’d love to know if you don’t mind to explain it….kekekekekeke…T___T..

Psstt: still drafting the entry for your contest..yeah..we all have to prepare the most impressive answer to get your attention..uwaaa…i got to give it a try since my BFF Jue also joining this contest and this means I’m also supporting her in a way.
